This page applies to bookings made on this website. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you book — we answer in English, German, Russian and Turkish, and we will confirm anything you need in writing.

This Privacy Policy explains how Atalay Transfer ("we", "us") collects and processes your personal data when you book an airport transfer through our website. We process data in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data controller is Atalay Transfer, reachable at +90 536 603 75 84.

1. Data we collect

To arrange your transfer we collect the information you provide in the booking form: your name, mobile phone number, and (optionally) email address; the full names of every passenger; your flight number and arrival or departure time; your hotel or address and the pickup/drop-off region; and the date, vehicle and any special requests. We may also collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and approximate country, and a currency preference cookie.

2. Why we use your data

We use your data only to deliver the service you ask for: to confirm and fulfil your transfer, to schedule and track your pickup against your flight, to pass the necessary details to the driver who will meet you, to contact you about your booking, and to meet our legal and transport-regulation obligations. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

3. Legal basis

Our legal bases for processing are: performance of the transfer contract you enter into with us (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; KVKK Art. 5/2-c, processing necessary for a contract); compliance with our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; KVKK Art. 5/2-ç); and, where applicable, your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your booking data only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting and tax retention periods required under Turkish law. After those periods expire we delete or anonymise your data. Atalay Transfer reviews retention periods regularly.

5. Sharing with drivers and suppliers

To carry out your transfer we share the details strictly needed for the journey — passenger name(s), pickup point, flight and time, contact phone — with the assigned driver or our local transport supplier. These partners act under our instructions and may only use the data to perform your transfer. We do not transfer your data abroad except as needed to operate our website and communication tools, and only with appropriate safeguards.

6. Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 and the GDPR you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request access to and a copy of it, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request deletion, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Turkey, the KVKK Authority). 7. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to work — for example to remember your chosen currency and language. We do not use them to identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then not work.
